greetings from PJ!
POSTED AT 04:35 PM

Hey people...
Left home at 7 this morning and had breakfast at my dad's favourite gnou lam shop in Ipoh. Reached PJ (my auntie's house) at about 1.15pm after nearly getting lost but not quite. Anyway, made it here without having to ask for directions. A wonderful first.
I'm writing this from my auntie's computer... and I just remembered a genius way to get my ICQ started (she uses ICQ-to-go) after I forgot my own ICQ number (again)... just search for myself on the ICQ page! I had to be a little specific though, because I didn't know there were so many Anna Tans in the world
Okies.
Maybe going shopping later. Sigh. Have to buy stuff to junk up my new hostel room that I'm only going to see on Tuesday and am hoping (fervently) to get a nice room, and that their promises of broadband is true!
Now that is a very long, ungrammatical sentence - but who cares?
Erm. Yeah. Ian's car overtook ours on the way. You know, this was the first time I ever saw a jam on the highway! The jam was going the other way lah... so happy us... and we were speculating that majority of them would be KL people going to Penang. Hehe... Totally jammed from Sg Buloh to Rawang... and even on open stretches of highway. So many cars.
But this is rambling.

I'm HOOOMMME
POSTED AT 10:34 PM

Yeah... I'm finally back from KL. Bought lots of rm10 shirts because Jusco was having sales. Bought track pants. I realised this was the first KL trip I've had where I didn't set foot on the LRT and I didn't browse MPH or Kino. It's a Miracle!!
Sunday
Got lost getting to Setapak and getting back. Visited Metro Tabernacle A/G. It's... ok... I guess... they have shofars (however you spell that...) and tambourine dancers.
Monday
Went to Cyberjaya. Cousin (Steven @ Tze Shin) entering hostel. Visited Yuin's place and then Li Lian's place. Niger drove us out to Putrajaya. Had lunch and walked around. Nice place. Rather secluded. Lots of nice architecture... and waste of money. Hehe...
Today
Registered at the TARC Hostel. Got blurred out, but I think everything's okay now. Yeah and here's my new add:
[my name]
Room 110, Block C
Asrama Kolej Tunku Abdul Rahman
Lot 2890, Jalan Malinja
53000 Setapak, KL.
Or something like that.
Yeah. I'm sleepy.
Can't remember what else I did. Oh. I had Ampang Yong Tau Foo.
Feeling: like i love my comforter

woah... that's fast!
POSTED AT 03:25 PM

Metro Tabernacle called me already!! First time to ask me for my add (because I just wrote TARC Hostel) and then to ask if I want to join their college cells in TARC.
Oh dear... I hope I'm not going to be stuck in this church without getting to see the others... Hehe... but I don't know. I might not mind anyway.

Book Review
POSTED AT 10:21 PM in book review

The Jerusalem Man by David Gemmell A rather interesting book. I'd picked it up just because I thought I'd try something by Gemmell. Didn't want to end up having to read a whole series by picking the wrong book, so I grabbed the one that didn't seem to be in a series. The story is about Jon Shannow, also called the Jerusalem man because he's seeking the mystical, mythical Jerusalem of the Bible. The world has gone through some type of apocalypse and if this weren't a book by a Fantasy/Sci-Fi writer, I'd think it to be some end time story by some preacher wannabe. Jon Shannow is a killer. A good kind of killer. He only kills brigands and people who threaten him. Right. Quotes from the Bible, philosophical discussions, tension, good against evil kind of fight. But who exactly is the evil one? The one who actually does the killing or the one behind it? What is the truth and who is God? Does He care? A book to get people thinking... and I'm wondering if this Gemmell guy is really a Christian. He leaves the questions kind of hanging. For goodness' sake it's a fiction book! But it stirs interest. Oh and by the way, my real player is kind of crazy at the moment. Don't know why. It's reading songs by different names.

sick
POSTED AT 09:23 AM

I woke up yesterday with a slight sore throat. Was pretty okay by lunch so I thought I should be fine. Played a little Warcraft and then started to get a headache. Went to lie down. Took a panadol and slept off the rest of the afternoon with a fever.
After dinner, read a bit and slept at about nine something. Woke up this morning still a little bit feverish. Sigh.
Sore throat still there.
I HATE BEING SICK!!
Feeling: sleepy

intruder alert!!
POSTED AT 03:43 PM

Joel Chan was at Central zone today. I was like... huh? Anyway, their NS thing lets them out (like some pets or something) to church on Sunday. And they came here. He was with two Indian girls, Rebecca from Kedah and Rachel from Seberang. Apparently only the 3 of them are Christians. He said there were some others but of the more 'nominal' kind.
He shaved his head. Hah.
Had Mother's day lunch at the Midlands restaurant. Going to have dinner at Penang Swimming Club.
I'm well already. Hehe.
Skipped youth last night to go shopping and had lovely coconut at Penang Sports Club.
Got new counter! Gonna keep track of numbers of ppl who visit from today.

I went out and did something!!
POSTED AT 07:11 PM

Yeah... after days of staying at home and doing nothing....
I was actually going to follow my parents to the airport to pick up uncle Robert (from Sibu).
But then Clarene and Ivan and Wen Ping and Kenny showed up... so went for lunch with them. McDonalds Sunrise. Then went to college...
Eunice Lim was there and Erica. Eunice was SUPER bored... and she was just unlucky enough to get a pair of student leaders who insist on speaking in Mandarin! (although they were screened for proficiency in English when they were selected.) Poor her. Hahha
Saw their power point thingy for the society presentations this Wed. Not bad...
Then they crashed at my house to use internet. The poor dears. Haha... net-less.
Going out for dinner...
Feeling: bouncy

busy?
POSTED AT 12:07 AM

Not really.
I went to college at about 1 with some junk food for Eunice and Joss. Lepaked there and talked to Lay Bee. Soo Yee and Hsiao Fen turned up at about 3 something so we were talking. Went back about 4.30pm (I think) when they left.
We were supposed to watch Van Helsing - Aun Nar, Yee Ting, Francis and I. But there were no seats!! Grr... so anyway, we watched Secret Window. It's rather like Identity. Anyone wants spoilers? Heh. I doubt I can remember much details to give spoilers lah.
Anyways it's not really a "horror" kind of movie... more a murder kind of movie. (Are they the same?)
Got my autograph book back...
Francis! I remember the big toe!!!
Hehehe... that was fun.

May 13th, 2004

lots of things
POSTED AT 10:54 AM

Yesterday, I went to college (again) to watch the society presentations. Sad lah... this year there were not that many actual 'presentations' - a lot of LCD stuff and boring people bla-ing. The CF thingy was good... and Ben, Joss and Clarene talking nonsense. Hehe...
After that we went to Gurney. Let me see... Eunice Lim, me, Ivan, Clarene, Kenny, Bernard, Hui Wen, Wai Yi, Elle, Joss and Benedict. Eunice chia me dinner!! Thank you!! So sweet. Heh.
Oh yeah. I met this Bernard guy before - the Phases camp in PD when he went with Abigail and Rachel. He's in TARC doing pre-u for UTAR.
Watched Van Helsing with them. Sat between Eunice and Ben. According to Eunice, Clarene and I were jumping at the same time when the scary parts came. According to Ben both Wai Yi and I were going 'ouch' when those poor fellows were being beaten up.
Ever wonder why they can get all beaten up and still have no broken bones or bruises? Haha... show biz.
And the girl died. Anna died. I'm dead! Hehe... It was a nice show.
You know what, I'm suddenly thinking of my kampua mee. Parents just (well, not just) came back from Sibu. Pastor Robert is here from Sibu... Nicky was just in Sarawak. Sigh.
My mum was like... kampua mee?! She doesn't think it's that nice. It's like Wan Tan Mee... just the noodles are a bit different. I remember we used to eat at Chopsticks after church every week. Had some kind of noodles with fish. And sometimes dinner near the church - that super duper chicken with salt!! Sigh. So yummy. By the way, I had that the other day somewhere in KL.
And I'm remembering the Big Toe again. That was in '95 or '96 I think. Debbie was playing the "younger me" and then sunday school teacher asked something about what God made first (not sure) and then she goes... "*splat* mosquito!" Then I'm the gangster girl (ahhahah) and Fran was the pastor (cos he looks so innocent ) and he "saved" me from being run over by a fake car... and had a big gigantic wrapped up big toe! Muahahhaah... that was fun.
I sometimes wish I can get back to the old days where I can watch plays and do plays and not wonder whether the storyline is ok... or if it's too cliched or if it's too boring or... where the actors/actresses goofed up or where they can do better. Argh.
Traded innocence for maturity.

Thank you, Francis, for a wonderful night yesterday. And thanks for the book! You're so sweet!
Pass/fail list is out (oh wow, tarc can do things early) and I passed all my papers. duh. At least two more weeks till the actual results come out.
My bro has a new electric guitar and amp. Just wondering when his classes will start then.
Nothing is new under the sun - tarc freshies like to cross-dress and act like pondans. Eck. It's gross, but what can you say? They just want to do it.
Tomorrow's the day! I'm off!
Gonna be a city girl. Muahahahahahahahahaha

POSTED AT 05:13 PM

I'm back online!!! RM70 a month man...
However I still can't check my mail (as of now lah) because the lycos thing keeps error-ing on me. Cacated.
Wai Yi is busy reading at the moment. Ivan 'stole' my CD collection so I'm listening to the music on my comp.
Erm...
Lemme think...
Arrived on Saturday... unpacked (mostly). Went Jusco with Ivan and Dyi Wei at night.
Sunday I went to Metro Tabernacle with Ivan. At night went to Carrefour with my cousin Pei Loon.
On Monday classes started. First class - Malaysian Taxation. The lecturer talks really REALLY fast. At night we joined the SIB cell in Setapak. It's called 1800 United. Heh. Pretty crazy bunch of people. After cell, we went for mamak. Happens to have a lot of Penang people.
I had an 8am class this morning!!! SO EARLY. Went to Jusco in the afternoon to get some stuff. Went to apply for internet... and yeah. I'm finally online!!
Had some trouble connecting though... hope that doesn't happen again.
And God, please make Lycos work.
Feeling: :-D

house keeping
POSTED AT 05:52 PM

I did laundry today... and we decided to wash the incredibly dirty and smelly curtains.
Hoping my jeans will dry because the drying area is not very sunny. Oh... and it drizzled earlier this afternoon! I was like... oooh raaaaiiinnn...
It's 5:50pm and I'm thinking about TARC Penang CF now. Sigh...

random things
I've come to a conclusion that English-ed students tend to try to look more mature. Chinese-ed students tend to want to look cute.
This wifi net thing in the TARC hostel is pretty fast, but MSN disconnects a lot. No idea why.
Yeah. And I downloaded the mozilla browser and now I can check my lycos mail. Should I get a yahoo mail?
The net people a bit sesated. I went to ask them if it was a network problem (that I couldn't access Lycos) and he sounded like he had never heard of lycos mail before. Oh well. But anyway.
I hear more people speaking English here in the KL campus than in the Penang one. Which is a relief.
Buying food is still a problem. Not just that they speak in cantonese... the names of food are a little different also. Yesterday I was trying to figure out what "Singapore Mee Hum" was... discovered it was "Singapore Bee Hoon"
Yeah. And my English is going from bad to worse.

lemon juice?
POSTED AT 09:10 PM

I ordered the wrong drink at dinner. I wanted to drink lime juice. So I said limau ais. The fellow looked dark dark like indon or something mah. Then he said something like 'sui kam peng'? So I said yeah. Turned out to be lemon juice. Eeks. They juiced it with the skin on, I think.
Tasted funny. Smelt like dishwashing liquid (I usually use the lemon smell one.. haha..)
Met May at the makan place. Forgot to find out what the name of the place is. Oh yeah, May is one of the people we met at the SIB cell group on Monday. Incidentally she stays in the hostel too (but different block) and she's in the same course as us. she's really nice.

Hope KLCC??
POSTED AT 05:11 PM

These two girls went door to door (I think... why else would they knock at mine?) and invited us to their 'freshie night' called A New Beginning. Right... Aish, whatever it is, good way to get attention also lah. Nice invites... printed on really thick cardboard. Oh well. Not an offer I'm thinking of following up on. Hmm... Hope KLCC... CC stands for Central Church? Dunno. Whatever.
It's really messy here at the moment. There are 400 people in the course (at least) and we're only getting our tutorial listings tomorrow. Pass/fail list just came out today for the main campus. SO tempted to keep putting "KL branch". Haha...
The noisy printing manager Paul is getting really frus. He keeps passing papers around the class for us to order the text books and revision kits from him, but the papers keep disappearing. Either that or are all messed up. I can't get it why my course mates can't read titles. Apparently they write orders for tax text book on the main name list and group listings on the one for ordering FMC books. Ish. Sesated. He reminds me a little bit of Peng Soon - very enthusiastic. Self-appointed mah.
I have 3 subjects this semester.
Business Taxation is (so far) still a revision of Basic Taxation. The lecturer, a Mr Kuek (I think) keeps emphasising that we need to improve our english. He asked a few people what "residence" means in normal english (not as defined by tax) and they said "citizenship." He speaks like a speed train. But I think he's pretty cool.
Financial Management and Control (FMC) is taught by this lady who says she's been teaching this since even before we were born. The Mrs Choo kind of teacher. Old, strict, but ok. It's the principles we need to learn... not memorise word for word. Yeah...
I haven't met my English for Management teacher yet. Yes. English. Sigh.
Planning to go out tomorrow... Whole day free!!

Sore Legs
POSTED AT 09:46 PM

I feel like I have been walking the whole day.
Today there was no class, so Wai Yi and I planned to go to MidValley Megamall. We walked to college to check the tutorial groups first, but met May on the way and she said that it would only be out at about two. So we went on to find some stuff that Wai Yi's friend wanted to know. Made our way to the bus stop. 60 cents for bus, RM2.30 for LRT to Bangsar station and another 50 cents to MidValley, which was stupid because right after we boarded the bus we found out that there was a free shuttle to MidValley right behind us.
We watched Troy at 2. Well, actually, 2.30. It's really really dumb. We go into the cinema at 2... and watch advertisements for THIRTY MINUTES before the show actually started!!! Grr...
Walked around a little after the show looking for a belt. It ended at 5, by the way. RM6 for a 2.5 hour show. Forgot to check the daily rates. Bought an RM11.90 belt... bought a present for Ivan's birthday... had dinner... took LRT back. Oh yeah. We got the free shuttle bus from MidValley to the LRT station.
When we got back to the Wangsa Maju station, we TRIED to take the bus back to the college. You see, the college is right beside our hostel. So we asked the bus driver guy, "do you stop at TAR College?" and he said yes. So we got on, paid our 60 cents and sat down. Passed by Malinja something, passed by the makan place we ate at the other day, and suddenly he's like turning out the road and we were like... "uh-oh... did you see TARC yet?" He was turning out of the area and we were still on the bus!!!
So we hopped off at the next stop and walked back. Unfortunately the next stop was like at the big junction near the Wangsa Maju station, so yeah. We paid 60 cents for the privelege of walking back home. Hmm... I still don't know how to spell 'privelege'... privilege? Priveledge? Priviledge? Gah. Lazy to check.
So I have VERY sore legs...
And Wai Yi HAS HER RESULTS... Mummy!!! Where are my results?!?
Feeling: nervously excitedly tired

Drunk Before Dawn?
POSTED AT 07:26 PM

I went to SIB yesterday for service.
It was good. The pastor was talking about the Integrity - wholeness thing. Sarah Sim was installed as a member. Met Boon Tsien. Went for dinner around the area as we were waiting for the band members to finish practice for this Wednesday's CoUZ (Combine college cell thingy). After the practice, they went for supper again... (well, dinner for them) so we finally reached home at about midnight only.
Went straight to bed and only woke up at 11 this morning. Like Woah.
ANYWAY, SIB is doing a musical for Christmas called 'Drunk Before Dawn'. It's the story of the origins of SIB in Borneo. And they're having auditions on 6 June!!!
Remember when we did SOP there was this other musical 'Green Tea' on in Sedaya? Well, it was written / directed by this bald guy called Weng On (not sure how to spell) who is in 1800 United!! and who is writing / co-directing Drunk Before Dawn for SIB
I SO WANT TO JOIN
Sigh.
So, now I have to make a decision... If I want to join this... I'll probably have to join SIB. The problem with SIB is that it's in PJ which is like far far away. There WILL be transportation though. And there's no guarantee that I'll get any part (they have acting, dancing, singing) cos it will be auditioned by professionals (they say) and I have NEVER been to an 'audition' in my life. Hahah.. thinking of it makes me scared. I like SIB... I like the people I have met in the cell...
If I don't join SIB, I'll probably go to Metro Tabernacle which is like super near. The service itself is pretty ok... the pastor was quite interesting, really... but there are some seniors (from tarc pg) which I *ahem* never mind... I know, petty reason. They have shofars... and tamborine dancers.
All in all, SIB sounds the best.
Sigh. Help?
Oh yeah, and I've pretty much forgotten how to do my management accounting. Ish. *grumble grumble*

May 26th, 2004

a full day
POSTED AT 12:16 AM

According to May and Trixie, I'm hyper today. Am I? Hmm...
Had 8 am class today... SIGH. And then had English at 11.30am. My English teacher is called Teresa Lin and she's pretty cool... but she talks kind of softly. Apparently we have 2 hours lab per week... but it wasn't in our time table. So we were supposed to give her some slots when we were free and she's to liase with the lab. Lab!! Supposed to use some program called "College English".
For English for Management, we have to do some report thingy on some management issue. So I'm teaming up with Doreen and two other girls I don't really know. Erm. Wai Peng and something Siew... Ahhaha.... Ok... this is bad. I don't even know my classmates' names!!
Wai Yi and I went to Carrefour after that cos she wanted to post a letter. Yeah. The post office is situated in Carrefour. Cool eh? Had KFC for lunch... TOMYAM chicken is incredibly YUCKY!!! Felt guilty after that for spending so much. I bought some more breakfast to go bars... a little expensive leh.. but nice wor... and convenient.

TARC KL CF
I don't see what's wrong with the CF really. Why does every one tell me that the CF in KL sucks?? I think it's pretty cool! I estimated roughly more than 100 students in the little tutorial class (was a little packed). At least half of them freshies. Or maybe more. Which is like woah...
I did not see any other Penang branch campus person...
Erm... it was "Freshmen night" so I suppose it isn't the normal programme. Anyway, they started with Praise and Worship. Apparently the worship leader, Solomon is a banana (ooh yay) PK from a gospel hall church. He talked a LOT in between songs. But besides that little fact, it was cool!! We sang 'Hari Ini', 'Soraklah Halelujah', 'Come, Now is the Time to Worship', 'Shine Jesus Shine' and 'Everyday'.
Cakap banyak emcee was another banana called Rowen. The CF president is called Xavier. You can guess at the number of times people brought up X-Men.
They had a dance which was pretty good... only some of the girls quite selamba... so that spoilt the effect. At the ending of the song, one guy was doing some breakdance style thing (not really la... but a little bit like that) and his shoe flew off.
A little sketch thing after that... not bad.. only the main girl had a tendency to smile when she was supposed to be sad. Haha.. I think I'm the only nit-picky one to notice that though. As storylines go... it was common for a CF setting.
Testimony by Rowen... Bingo ice-breaker... then split into groups by schools. Met new people... half forgotten names. *whoops* There was a Jeff and a Joe and a Manfred and Christienne and May May and... Oh yeah... there was Molly.
It was a little freaky... I was intro-ing myself to a girl. She went like "Hi, I'm Molly."
So I said, "I'm Anna."
Then she goes "Are you from Penang?"
"Yes"
"From FGA?"
"Yes."
"Are you Pastor Albert's daughter?"
"Yes... uh... do I know you?"
Yeah. She's from FGA Kulim. Sheesh... Teruknya... and I totally don't remember her!! There was another girl that I was wondering why she looked a little familiar - she turned out to be Charlene from Kulim.
So now May and Trixie know that I'm a PK.
The CFers went mamaking after that but I didn't follow lah. I think the CF is cool!! Dunno why people keep telling me otherwise.
They said that it's inconsistent, but it's not when you listen to their explanation. They have CF and they have Joy Group (the Chinese version of CF) so they take it alternate weeks. Like one week CF, the next Joy. So that everyone feels welcome!! Both Chinese-ed and English-ed. Pretty smart, eh?

super late dinner - supper thing
Didn't have a proper dinner because CF being the time it is, (6.30 - 9pm! Everyone say... what?!) and I was supposed to meet Edrian for supper anyway. We went to NZ curry something near Carrefour.
Thanks for dinner, Edrian!! I know you'll be reading this... hehe...
Too bad didn't get to meet Kin Mun.
Oh well... anyways... I should meet up with Kin Yan and Justin soon kua.

Tomorrow...
I have 8 am class again
I only have 1 class!!! muahahhahahhahahhaha...
I am going to CoUZ!
Feeling: distractedly hyper

adventures in KL...
POSTED AT 04:28 PM

CoUZ [Wednesday]
CoUZ was... pretty cool. Well... they had... games (Anna and games? Hmm) Ok la... not bad.. more team games and stuff... Divided into 4 groups.
The theme was 'PlayStation' (sheesh... wish I had known that earlier) and there were 4 stations. The first station we were at, "circle", was some sort of creativity thing. Second station 'square" we were to do a drawing based on a Bible passage. The X station, we did that mine thing we did before... and the last station "triangle" they had a quiz thing - bible knowledge, geography and entertainment. Their bible knowledge is like super keng... they have this Bible reading / memorising thing and they memorise whole passages!!
We lost. Haha... Worship was cool.. and Pastor Lindy shared a little then went for supper (again) and then back home.
Pastor Lindy is this really young woman who's really fun and crazy. She's the cell leader of 1800 United.
Next CoUZ is called Huh?" It's an inter-zonal Bible quiz - College Zone, Youth and Young Adults.

Yesterday [Thursday]
I practically swam to college. Well... not really... but the road was flooded. The wind was so strong that by the time I reached the college (using the hostel road) I was drenched. The umbrella was totally of NO use. Had Tax tutorial led by Andrew Kok. He's a really funny guy. Part time lecturer, runs his own business, which is why I had a stupid 6-8 class.
After class, we decided to try to get to Giant. We got lost instead. sigh
Like, really lost. As in... where on earth are we? This isn't Setapak / Wangsa Maju / Taman Melawati anymore Had to ask for directions from some guy near some shops. Called Yi Wan and she couldn't help... she sounded like she was laughing, for goodness sake!!

Book fair!! [today]
I went with Doreen and Siew Theen all the way to PWTC (Putra World Trade Centre) for the book fair. Do you know, it costs RM7 for transport there and back?!
Anyway, at first we were really bored because there were all these kids books and text books. I mean like lots and lots of text books - McGraw-Hill, Thomson Learning... bla bla bla...
Finally found some "cheap novels" place (only a few) and bought Field of 13 (Dick Francis) for RM3 and an omnibus The Edge / Comeback also by Dick Francis for RM15. Regretted that last one when we finally found the Pay Less Books store that sells really cheap books!!
The Secret Agent and Almayer's Folly by Joseph Conrad - RM4 (2 books in 1)
The Man Who was Thursday by GK Chesterton - RM8
The Aeneid by Virgil - RM5
Plays by Chekhov (Ivanov / The Cherry Orchard / The Seagull / Uncle Vania / Three Sisters) - RM4
Not bad eh? There was this section that had buy 2 free 1, but could only find 1 that I really wanted... and it was like RM12.90 each so I didn't get it. There was also 3 for RM9, 5 for RM12 and 8 for RM18 but I didn't really know the authors there... didn't sound that interesting. Anyway, Doreen got 5 from there so I'm going to borrow from her later.
I'm so happy!! HAhaha...
Going to watch Shrek 2 tomorrow.
Feeling: happy

I didn't get to see Shrek 2... The lines at KLCC were SO long - especially the one for Shrek!! Yeah, anyway, the movie was sold out until the 11.20pm one (we reached at about 12.30) so we watched Confessions of a Teenage Drama Queen.
Really drama queen... a little bitchy... funny sometimes... an ok show.
Sigh.
Had this thing called 'blizzard' - something like flurry - at DQ Julius which was really nice.
Can't think of anything to say.
Tomorrow going to SIB again.

tiring day
POSTED AT 12:09 AM

but first of all
CONGRATS, FRANCIS!! Whee... NUS for LAW!! Praise God!

Went to SIB this morning. Took an audition pack.
Drunk Before Dawn - tentative date 12 Dec. Musical theatre. Rehearsals at SIB (KL) premises in PJ. Sigh. From July to Nov.
For cast - weekday nights from 8-10 (except Mondays) and Sundays 2:30-5pm - not all cast have to attend every rehearsal - rehearsal schedule to be prepared according to load of the characters. Whatever.
For chorus - sunday afternoons.
The only girl role I fit into is LEA
Lea, age 19, is Raut's lover, the older daughter of a God-fearing couple and a committed Christian herself. Her simplicity of spirit belies her spiritual wisdom and strength. Her faith is quiet but constant, and eventually serves to show her people that the One she believes in is really God. Vocal range: mezzo-sop/alto
MINA (young) needs to be between 8-12 and a soprano.
MINA (old) needs to be a soprano... and I doubt I can handle being a 70 year old woman.
MRS. LEE needs to be a soprano... and have a sense of humour. Me? Humour? Hmm...
AGNUS is a 30 year old soprano widow.
Unless I just try for chorus (the villagers of the tribe). Sigh... difficult choice... I doubt I can make it... but.. hai... there's really only one option!!! Pray I have a good audition!!

After service we went to MidValley. Had lunch. Watched LUSA. Hehehe... Still haven't watched Shrek 2!! The cinemas are so packed!! I miss penang cinemas!! Oh well... gotta stop spending money... Gosh... I can just see the money FLOWING out.
Wanted to go back after the show at 6 something but it was raining heavily so we decided to eat dinner first. Finally reached home at about 9 plus plus plus... I think can say it was 10 lah. Didn't really check my watch. Oh yeah. The people I went out with
Wai Yi
May
Yi Wan
Fay Cheng
Jensis
Joshua (RGBC, Pg)
Ivan
Vincent
Felix
Yeah.
It's been raining like crazy. Somehow I miss the sun.
