43 - inD POSTED AT 01:05 PM I surfed over to MealZ on WillZ and found this post. Excerpts:
Waahhh... Haha.. I think I was in on YW'01 (was I, Josh?) - the one in our church, right? The year we were in fm5. Wah. Form 5 seems so long ago. With practices at Fettes Park Baptist Church. I think. Bah, brains gone bad. Really can't remember. At any rate, Go, FGAC, Go! Hurrah!! Don't really remember who he is though, except that he should be from PCC. Heh. Oh, and this is cool:

40 - inDE POSTED AT 07:02 PM The Hymnsmen from GTPJ sang at church today. It was pretty cool. Haha. Anyway, there was this lady sitting up in front with them who looked pretty familiar, and I was trying to remember who she was. Really really couldn't. I was just saying maybe I saw her when I visited GTPJ. Then after that, I was thinking can't be... I mean, how can you go just once and think you recognise someone? After that I thought maybe she was from SIB. Then I went to my dad and in the midst of asking him if he knew who she was, it dawned upon me that I actually knew. She was Gan Tze May's sister, Lisa... who did some brief vocal training with us during Drunk Before Dawn and she was there as the Hymnsmen's vocal trainer. Haha. Small world. I was tempted to ask her to come for tonight's Youth Rally practice and teach the kids how to sing. (Oh, hey, "kids"! Haha.. Now I feel old. But I mean, they were kids when I left youth. in DESPERATION Purple's not really a desperate colour. What's a desperate colour? |

38 - inDE POSTED AT 12:30 PM My house is in upheaval of furniture rearrangements. It all started with me kicking my bro out of my room into his old room. I do think we have too much furniture. But then again, we have a lot of things that need to be kept in said furniture. So unless we get rid of those things (mainly MY lovely books which are not going anywhere) we shall not get rid of said furniture. |

29 - inDESP POSTED AT 06:37 PM I'm back in Penang! Exams were... terrible. But it's over. Hope I don't have to resit them Anyways, had a nice time over at jc's place I miss my tomyam already Hahahahahaha My house is finally wi-fied! So my dad doesn't have to steal the internet anymore. Nyeh. Not that it will make much of a difference when I start work or whatever lah. But until then... Hehe. Oh! Me flight to Aus leaves on 21 June! Uh, a bit brain dead here. And over-smileyed. 28 - inDESPE POSTED AT 01:24 PM I just spent rm95 (on Wed) on buying 6 cds, which works out to be about rm16 each. Is happy, but is broke. Haha. List of new acquisitions:
Yaaah, pretty old cds. Heh. Ivan was selling 'em second hand. And I felt like splurging. Haha. He still has plenty more, including Lincoln Brewster's new CD, Steven Curtis Chapman, Jake, and... a lot more that I forget. I'll see if I can get a list from him and post it up. Tell me (or contact him on his blog) if you're interested, yeah? --- I'm getting frustrated with this stupid computer. See, my dad has installed this wi-fi router thingo, so it's already auto-connected. But every once in a while, the computer decides to ask me to dial-up again. OBVIOUSLY that doesn't work because I'm already connected! But I can't stop that dial-up thing from popping up every once in a while. Irritating. And when it does, IE doesn't work anymore. Not that I use IE (I usually use Firefox), but when IE fouls up, so does MSN. Don't ask me why! Ergh. Solutions from the techy people?? --- I just heard that my Mama (Dad's mum) was admitted to the hospital last night. Don't know why. Waiting for them to come back and tell me (they're visiting her now). My mum said something about it this morning la, but I was half-asleep. Listening to: I Need to Need You - Josh Yeoh |

26 - inDESPE POSTED AT 11:30 PM Unc Philip is such a genius! Hahahahaha... I have 2 lovely disks of song / video files that I thought I had lost in my last computer crash. Apparently he managed to salvage them... I realised... I have songs that I don't even remember having. *bad memory* Feels something like rediscovering my past. Haha. Cacats. --- So I've been telling everyone... I'm back in Penang to stay! I'm done studying! And NOOOOO I don't want to do Masters. Haha. And NO I haven't gotten a job yet. So what's on the horizon? Tomorrow: blood test Wednesday: Fly off to Adelaide 3 July: Hillsong Conference 06 (whoohoo!) 8 July: Me comes home. (awwwwww) Sometime the week after that: operation 14 - 15 July: in Desperation - youth rally 06 Some time mid-July: convocation. That's all I know for now. --- What was that? Yes. Tests have shown conclusively that I have a minor growth in the thyroid. (Something like what Deb had.) Anyways, so does my dad. What's this - a family affair? Heh. What's happening then is that we'll be doing an operation to remove the growth. If it happens to be cancerous (they'll do biopsy mid-op), then they'll remove the whole thingo. How do you feel? Frankly, I dunno. I'm still recovering from exam blues, being distracted by Terry Pratchett, and anticipating my holiday and Hillsong Conference. Heh. As Josh reminded me... we're too blessed to be depressed. I'll think about it when it gets nearer. Haha. =) |

24 - inDESPER; of forwards and worthiness POSTED AT 03:56 PM
Got this from one of those Friendster forwards (deleted the chainmail stuff at the end. It sounded sweet la, until the end (the part I deleted) but I'm not to sure that all of it is very true. When I'm quiet, it sometimes means I'm too tired / hungry to talk. Then again when I'm noisy, it can also mean I'm so tired / hungry that it tips the "sane" factor and I get hyper. And I (usually) don't argue, so I don't know if not arguing means I'm always thinking deeply. I think more likely I've blanked out. Haha. Looking at someone with questioning eyes can also mean that I don't understand what on earth that someone is talking about. Answering "I'm fine" doesn't necessarily mean that I'm not fine, but it might mean that I don't find the time right enough to tell you all about my day, or I don't find you the right person to say it to. If I'm staring at you, it probably means you look familiar but I just can't remember your name. (It happens.) The last two, I've never said aloud, so I don't know how much I'll mean it. Still, very sweet. If only they wouldn't tag on the parts about "if you don't send it on, you'll miss the love of your life." As if. Hah. --- "to live a life worthy of Christ" It's hard to explain a statement such as that. wor·thy (wûr'THÄ“) pronunciation
Its like, really the "worth" (value / usefulness) of your life is what Christ has given you. All that He has done, is what your life is worth... Make sense? Still thinking about it. |

22 - inDESPER; and i'm in aus! POSTED AT 10:49 AM Hi everyone... I just reached Adelaide this morning, about 7.45 am Aussie time... which is an ungodly hour back home. Haha. Was picked up by Deb's housemate, Chui, and pottered round her room, read her welcome booklet to me (hehe), took a nap and a shower and now I'm about ready to go out and look for lunch! On my own! At least she gave me money. When we landed it was about 14 deg. Celcius, if I remember correctly. Seems okay lah... until the wind starts blowing! Now I'm HUNGRY... See ya!
